AI Demand Forecasting & Production Planning
We built an AI planning system to support demand forecasting and production decisions in a high-variability food manufacturing context, moving from manual forecasting to a more structured, explainable and adaptive planning workflow.

The production plan was rebuilt by hand each week, with the same mistakes, same gaps, and same emergency rework every time forecasts were off.
Unpredictable demand
When demand spiked above forecast, the line was already committed elsewhere. Some stockouts became lost orders, with clients who simply went elsewhere.
Systematic overproduction
When the plan erred in the other direction, product was made that nobody needed: waste that was nearly impossible to recover and hit margin directly.

Multi-horizon ML forecasting
Optimized production plan

Ensemble model trained on your actual sales history and seasonality, with 30, 60 and 90-day forecasts per SKU, so production decisions are driven by data.
Constraint solver that weighs capacity, setup costs and current stock levels, outputting the optimal production schedule in seconds, with deviation comparison against the previous plan.
Bidirectional sync via API: approved orders enter the ERP automatically, with no double entry or delays.
Waste and plan adherence updated every 15 minutes, visible from anywhere. Proactive alerts fire before a deviation becomes a stockout, not after.
